One to one coaching - online

Health and well-being coaching is a process whereby a safe space is created between the coach and client, where exploration of what might be holding you back from feeling fully-well, fully-living life, and how to maintain that desired improvement. By using evidence-based behavioural change techniques, Heather will empower you to build confidence, skills and knowledge to improve your well-being for the long-term. Whether you feel the limitations are with your mental or physical health, Heather is ready to support you through this transition in life.

A recent study showed that only 15% of people are self-motivators, meaning that the majority of us need support, especially during big changes, and when you don't know where to start or how to do it. Our brains are also hard-wired to focus in on the negatives and not the accomplishments you've made, hence why having direction, support and hearing what achievements you've made, make such a difference to your successes. ​​​​​​

One to one coaching - walking, running or cycling

Whether you want to combine health and well-being coaching with physical exercise, prefer to have coaching outside in nature, or simply want to have a trainer with you whilst you exercise – Heather is happy to support you in whichever way benefits you most. Being outside in nature reduces anxiety, brings a more dynamic and natural approach to coaching, and if you can combine coaching with getting fit, why not?!

 

Heather is an ultra-distance cyclist (having cycled the Great Divide from Canada to Mexico in 2025) and has worked as a professional outdoor educator for the UK’s largest Wildlife Conservation Charity, so is skilled in combining coaching with the outdoors.

Cooking Mentoring - in your home 

Do you need some cooking inspiration, re-direction and energy in the kitchen? Heather will bring a selection of fresh whole-food ingredients, and guide you through a series of healthy culinary plant-based delights, to shake-up your meal-time routines. A few changes, ideas and additions can make a huge difference, not only to the quality of your cooking and eating experience, but to your body and mind. With 90 % of our serotonin made in the gut, we now know more than ever how important it is to eat well if we want to feel well. 

 

Our diets have become worryingly processed; heavy with meats, dairy and sugars, and even more worryingly, lots more ‘food-like substances’. Studies show that those who follow a predominantly plant-based diet, have significantly reduced risks of life-style diseases such as dementia, heart-disease and cancers. Simple swaps can be made; creamy cashew sauces, almond flour and berry pancakes, scrambled tofu and frozen banana ice-cream. These foods are anti-inflammatory, packed with anti-oxidants, high in fibre, nutrients and minerals, and keep you feeing fuller for longer, as well as tasting delicious.

 

This will be a fun evening where the whole family can get involved in the learning, the making, of course the eating. We will cook a starter, a main and a pudding, and you’ll be guided through every step of the way. You’ll be left with a recipe and instructions, and the knowledge and skills to re-create it and incorporate it into your cooking repertoire.
